S's Living Room Railing
This split level house had a low, modern railing separating the dining room from the living room. S was worried that her growing son would be tempted to leap the 24 inch tall railing and wanted a taller and more traditional replacement. After some exchanges to determine the style of the top rail and the ballusters (including a few 3d models), it took a day to remove the existing railing, and two days to install the new railing. The new rail meets residential code and was finished to match the existing trim.
